Reggie at Meet and Greet

Reggie came out to 100 Oaks today and was a superstar at meeting and greeting.  He is a very sweet and handsome hound.  He doesn't like to have his picture taken much, but I was able to sneak in a few shots of him.  It was great meeting you, Reggie.  Tell your foster parents we said thanks for bringing you out!

This little girl seemed really taken with Reggie

Roach Hotel

I wished I had my camera ready... Reggie was doing his roach imitation and Lucky (my 20 pound white dog) was right next to him in the same position. That is what I call total trust.

What a sweet, sweet boy, and smart too

We have been Reggie's foster parents since Saturday August 14th. We picked him up with Dusty, our 90 lbs dog. Reggie and Dusty hit it off from the start. We went to PetSmart for the meet and greet. While waiting for the Meet and Greet to start we walked around the store for a while. Reggie and Dusty made friends with any dog that would let them including an three months old Lab named Lucy. Then the other Greys showed up, no problem there. We did walk him by the birds that were flapping around.. good sign no reaction. Childern were all around, Reggie just let them pet him.

We went home and walked him around the yard showing him where the fence is. (But he still ran into the fence after a rabit, topical male has to learn everything the hard way. Has not done it since.) We introduced him to the rest of our gang, a 45 lbs dog, two 20lbs dogs and 2 birds. No bad reactions to anything so far, except all humans leaving the room, or house and not taking him with them. But even in the short time we have had him that is getting better.

I have seen Reggie with small dogs, bird and small kids, he is gentle with them all. Great on a leash. Such a sweet, sweet boy!!!! And he is smart too!!!!

The 1st time getting into our van he needed a little encouragement, the 2nd time he hoped right in. Comes when you call him, Taps at the door when he wants out. If you say no he stops doing what he is doing. What more could you ask for .
